OC-3 connections to three Internet backbones. Cables run directly from the
data center to Points of Presence for Global Crossing, Qwest Communications,

MD Data Center Summary
Network:
Our Silver Spring network is housed inside Atlantech
Online. Their completely redundant network maintains over 2 Gbps of
upstream bandwidth through InterNAP, Level3, Global Crossing and AT&T,
as well as many private peering relationships. This "mesh" configuration
eliminates single point-to-point fiber link failures to ensure the redundancy
allowing for uninterrupted flow of our customers data across the network.
Every piece of networking equipment, from 100 Mbps Ethernet connection
to their Internet peering points, has a minimum of 1 to 1 redundancy.
Security:
Atlantech shares our customer's concerns about the security of their equipment
and data, and we have deployed the most stringent measures to protect
our customer's assets. There are a wide range of security features in
the data center including motion sensors, 24×7 secured access, video
camera surveillance and security breach alarmsAdmittance to the facility
requires advance notification and a valid photo ID for any visitor. All
Vansam servers have industry leading firewall systems and uptime monitoring
scripts to maintain the integrity of each website and appliction.
